Hostel Rules

  • No parents can meet their child before 20th April.
  • The parents are allowed to meet their wards only on Sundays, on dates issued by the school on the 1st Day of the School.
  • Duration of visit should not strictly exceed 3 hours.
  • Visiting hours begin strictly after 10 A.M to 5 P.M on Sundays.
  • Parents and guardians are expected to meet their wards by prior permissions of their wardens and not directly in the dormitories.
  • Food parcels from the parents are not allowed.
  • Students are not allowed to keep cash or valuables with them. Students are given pocket money every fortnight or when required. Borrowing or lending money and other personal belongings from each others is strictly¬† prohibited.
  • Students must not be given Walkman, I-Pods, Transistors, Mobiles, Electric Shavers, Cameras or other expensive articles to be brought to the hostel. In case of misplacement the school bears no responsibility.
  • For ordinary ailments parents are not informed. If the student is admitted to the hospital a communication is sent to the parent.
  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited.

The school has a mess where 400 students can have food in one batch in most hygienic and healthy conditions. Teachers and all other staff also accompany students during every meal to keep the overall eye on nutrition and quality School had deputed wardens, pharmacists and mess in-charge as accountable persons. Proper nutrition, tasty food in adequate quantity is our top priority. Under the constant supervision of the mess in-charge a healthy menu is decided in consultation with the staff and children.

Along with non – vegetarian food i.e. mutton/ chicken once a week, the school generally follows the following menu:

  1. Breakfast – Egg, porridge (dalia), vegetable & chapatti, butter toast, bread, kulcha, pao bhaji & Upma.
  2. Lunch – Rice & daal with seasonal fruits and salad/raita/ ice cream/ chocobar.
  3. Tea time – Milk & bakery snacks/fruit chaat.
  4. Dinner – Daal, vegetable, chapatti & sweet dish/ ice cream.
